You do not ever have to pay the refund back. This credit comes in the form of a check which refunds your business for payroll expenses.

Churches that claimed PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loans may still be eligible! This is a common misconception about the ERC.

Per the IRS's website, the time for your church to recieve the refund is 6-9 months.

This is generally gross wages plus employer health insurance costs.
